HISTORY AND COMPANY<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Bio.design was founded in Italy within API Italia, a company established in Milan in 1980 by Franco Milani and active for over 30 years in the field of water management for aesthetic, recreational, and irrigation applications.<\/p>\n

From the very beginning, API Italia stood out for designing irrigation systems for more than 30 golf courses and major Italian public parks, gradually developing advanced expertise in the construction of artificial lakes, monumental fountains, and water treatment systems.<\/p>\n

In the 1990s, the company introduced centralized remote control systems in Italy for the management of urban green areas, developing intelligent controllers capable of integrating irrigation, lighting, fountains, and swimming pools. In 1995, it also obtained the exclusive license for OASE products, a leader in the field of fountains and ornamental lakes.<\/p>\n

THE ORIGIN OF BIO.DESIGN TECHNOLOGY<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The experience gained in the construction of lakes and phytoremediation systems led, in 2007, to the development of an innovative technology: bringing the environmental and aesthetic benefits of natural lakes into the world of swimming pools.<\/p>\n

This marked the birth of the Bio.design concept: a new way of designing pools, focused on customization, sustainability, and an enhanced bathing experience.<\/p>\n

In 2010, thanks to two international patents, Bio.design Pools became the core business of API Italia, introducing solutions that reduce the environmental impact of construction techniques while offering tangible technical and economic advantages.<\/p>\n

Thanks to its internal know-how, continuous research, and the development of proprietary technologies, API Italia led a true transformation in the pool industry, which had previously been dominated by rigid concrete structures and standardized shapes.<\/p>\n

Bio.design technology gained international recognition: at the International Swimming Pool Exhibition in Barcelona, it was awarded as the most sustainable and innovative product in the sector.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the company developed advanced expertise in water treatment, introducing innovative sterilization systems that improve user well-being while significantly reducing the use and disposal of industrial chlorine.<\/p>\n

Today, Bio.design represents a fast-growing international company.<\/p>\n

It employs around 40 people, operates through a global network of agents and dealers, and serves markets worldwide.<\/p>\n

In 2022, Bio.design was acquired by an investment fund, marking the beginning of a new phase of international expansion and consolidation.<\/p>\n

Since July 2022, the company has been led by CEO Antonio Filippi.<\/p>\n
